Right on 58 through Damascus to Volney (Watch for signs to stay on 58). A nice side trip is Grayson Highlands Park
Left on 16 at Volney (nice eats at corner store)
Follow 16 through Marion (now it gets good)
Continue to either Thompson Valley Store or Back of the Dragon Store
Both will be on your left
Turn around and return on 16
Watch for 601 on your right as you come down the first mountain

601 will merge left on to 91
Follow 91 to Saltville
Right on 107 White Top Rd ( red light)
Continue through Chilhowie
107 becomes 762-600
Right on White Top Rd.( old store gas station closed )
Right on 58 to Damascus and back to Shady Valley
